People are constantly urged for financial help, whether it is by big governmental associations or not, or by small independent local associations. Therefore, it becomes today more and more difficult to find necessary funds for the development of new projects.
In order to be able to continue to support unprivileged children / youngster and provide scholarships and training, our association has decided to start a palm grove of about 5 acres in Cameroon. The palm grove will produce palm oil and the “supposedly” revenue will help our association to cover management charges for a beginning. If the project meets our expectation, we will add a few more acres to the palm grove in the future.
Palm oil is generally used for cooking in Central Africa and within 3 years, we will have a regular revenue form the oil sale.
Advantages of the project:
- This project has given punctual jobs opportunities which is good in a country where unemployment is has high as 70%.
- The Palm grove will bring regular revenue to the association with the oil sale
- It will give us the possibility to invest in new projects in concordance with the aim of the association.
