Vacation and pleasure! These two words go well together and that’s why Education Without Borders has decided to start on June 30 the project “A Football Summer” in Edea, small town in the Littoral province of Cameroon.
Many youngsters do not have the possibility to go away during summer time and the aim of this project is to organize every year during summer vacation sports activities in poor area of Cameroon and bring some fun. These activities are today mainly football as this is the only sport that has the necessary infrastructures in the country.
A football tournament including 8 teams was organized for the first edition of the project. Each team represents a region and all want their region to be proud of them and participate until the final game, but the most important is of course the pleasure to participate and enjoy together a nice summer vacation.
